Energetic Care's

Economic Stimulus Workshop

The Introduction to Allegro (reformer) Workshop is designed for people who have never studied on an Allegro Pilates reformer or need a refresher course. This workshop is an excellent way for new students to experience Pilates using an Allegro. Students can take this class as many times as needed until they are prepared for the Allegro Pilates class.

Private sessions are also available if desired.

Instructors

 

Lynda KingLynda King
The Rev. Dr. Lynda King, DSS, CMT, ACE, EMT, brings to her practice over 20 years of experience in integrative, non-invasive modalities of healing. Lynda’s education includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Performing Arts. She has a Masters in Theology and also recently earned a Doctorate of Spiritual Science from the Peace Theological Seminary and College of Philosophy. Additional studies pursued have been neurolinguistics, interactive guided imagery, yoga, relaxation and stress management techniques and conflict resolution. Lynda is nationally board certified in therapeutic massage and bodywork and is a member of Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals. She is also certified to practice Ashiatsu Oriental Bar massage and has an extensive repertoire of massage skills. Lynda has been practicing yoga for 30 years and teaching for 10. She is a graduate of Balanced Body University Pilates Instructor program and is fully certified in both mat and reformer Pilates.
Inner peace and spiritual expression play a vital role in Lynda’s life. She has studied and practiced self-awareness and many forms of meditation since 1980. She has a broad base knowledge of the human body, physical fitness, dance therapy and emergency medicine. She has a gift of thinking outside of the box, excellent assessment skills and a highly evolved intuition – all of which allow her to serve her students and clients more effectively.

 

Adina Robinson

Adina Robinson, L.Ac.
Adina holds a Master's degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the Santa Barbara College of Oriental Medicine. She is a licensed acupuncturist in the state of California. Adina also participated in an intensive study course at the Wan Zhou School of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China, working in a hospital setting. Adina is the only practitioner of Acugems Facial Rejuve in El Dorado County. Additionally, Adina has a Bachelor's degree from the University California at Santa Barbara. James CraderJames Crader
James is a graduate of CSU Sacramento, and a Balanced Body University (BBU) trained instructor in Mat Pilates and Reformer. In addition James studied Mat Prop work directly with Leslee Bender (The Pilates Coach). He is currently completing full Pilates Instructor Certification with BBU at Body Concepts. Having trained at White Lotus, James is also an RYT-200 Yoga Instructor. He has worked with numerous athletes, dancers, weekend warriors, and rehabilitation patients to improve balance, flexibility, and performance. James teaches Pilates and Yoga classes, and is also available for MyoFascial Release Therapy and Traditional Thai Massage.

 

 

Dr. Leitha FairDr. Letha Fair, D.C.
Chiropractor, Sports Rehab Specialist and Pilates Instructor
Letha has been practicing for 16 years as a musculoskeletal specialist. Her first 10 years were spent in San Francisco with The San Francisco Bay Club in a multidisciplinary practice. She was one of the first Leukemia "Team in Training" physicians in SF and was also team doctor for a tri-athlete team. Letha is currently working part time in El Dorado Hills and has been teaching Pilates locally for 4 years.

 

 

 

Jeanine-Dave Lopes

Jeanine Lopes, M.P.T., Certified Pilates Instructor
Since 1997, Jeanine has enjoyed merging the worlds of Pilates and Physical Therapy into a comprehensive physical healing and strengthening method. Her Masters Degree in Physical Therapy (1993) launched her on the path of traditional physical rehabilitation and exercise physiology. It also initiated her extensive training and experience in the assessment and treatment of orthopedic and neurologic dysfunctions. By combining traditional P.T. experience with a passion for Pilates, Jeanine is able to help clients achieve physical balance, optimal core strength, and rehabilitation of both acute and chronic conditions. Jeanine's Pilates experience includes instructing in multiple private studios and athletic club venues, as well as personally owning a Pilates based Physical Therapy studio near Denver, Colorado. She has been fortunate to work with a wide variety of clients, including pregnant women, seniors, multiple sclerosis sufferers, individuals with various orthopedic injuries, as well as elite Olympic athletes. Most of all, though, Jeanine strives to bring health, balance, wellness, and peace to those clients who honor her with their trust and confidence.

 

Elizabeth MullinsElizabeth Mullins
Elizabeth is a graduate from Fitness Arts/Core Connections on all apparatus and has been teaching since 1999. She is certified to teach Pilates Mat, Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, Spine Corrector, Barrel and Ladder Barrel, as well as Stott Pilates trained for Injury and Special Populations. She has worked with a wide range of clients and conditions; from the seasoned athlete to the novice exerciser, spine conditions, post-polio syndrome, Multiple Sclerosis, scoliosis, osteopenia/osteoporosis, arthritis, obesity, teenagers to the older participant. She likes to help her clients gain core strength, flexibility, coordination and body awareness to relieve pain, recover from injury, and release the body from limitation through self-awareness, thus giving them the ability and courage to move beyond former limitations. Her motto is, "Pilates is not a destination, but a journey, enjoy the journey"!

 

Jamie VinciguerraJamie Vinciguerra
Jamie is a Performance EnHancement International (PHI) certified Mat and Reformer instructor. Jamie has been in the fitness industry for three years and also holds certifications with ACE and IFPA. Jamie looks forward to educating clients about the many benefits of Pilates, as well as helping each client to reach their ultimate fitness goal.

 

 

 

 

Liz BrodeurLiz Brodeur
Liz is Energetic Care’s executive assistant and behind the scenes expert. She brings to the studio a wealth of knowledge and organizational skills. You can sometimes catch her doing the books as well as helping with our classes and events. She plays a valuable role in the success of the studio and we are happy to have her support.
